Nelson Sá moves to Duke to lead economics master’s program

Nelson Sá has joined Duke as assistant professor of the practice of economics and director of the institution’s M.A. economics course.

He moves to North Carolina from Brandeis University, where he has taught since 2017, and prior to that worked at Vassar College for nine years.

Sá’s research interests focus on telecommunications policy, including the evaluation and measurement of the costs and benefits associated with electromagnetic spectrum sharing.

He obtained his M.A. and Ph.D. from Duke University.
