The labor economist will join Princeton in July next year.
She was previously a senior fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, where her work focused on economic competitiveness.
The economist has worked at the university since 2012.
Adrien Auclert, Julien Grenet and Alexandra Roulet have joined the 15-strong advisory body.
Natalia Ramondo and David Lagakos were both previously associate professors at the institution.
The economist obtained his Ph.D. from Harvard University.
The Yale professor is awarded the prize for his research across areas including decision-making and behavioral economics.
His research spanned areas including labor economics, financial economics and risk management.
The new research unit will be led by energy economics professor Christopher Knittel.
The former finance minister of Portugal will start in the role on June 1.
