He was previously chair of the economics division at Columbia Graduate School of Business.

Jordan Matsudaira is currently also serving as deputy under secretary at the department.
Tatiana Mocanu, Sebastán Otero and Noémie Pinardon-Touati will join the university’s department of economics in 2023.
