Kingston University appoints Michela Vecchi as professor

Kingston University has named Michela Vecchi as a professor of economics.

She was previously research leader for the department of economics at Middlesex University and is a permanent visiting fellow at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research.

Vecchi’s research interests cover productivity, labor economics, applied econometrics, innovation and ICT.

Her prior appointments include working as a senior research officer at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research and as a lecturer in economics at the University of Stirling.

Commenting on her appointment on Twitter, Kingston University’s economics department said: “We’re all really looking forward to working with Michela, whose appointment strengthens our department even further.”
